Police recovered the dead body of a teenager’s from a teak tree garden of Jalil Tila area of the Choto-maroon union in Dighinala upazila of Khagrachhari District on early Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Md Sourav, 15, son of Harunur Rashid of Sobhanpur village. In profession he is an ice-cream seller. Dighinala Police Station Officer-in-Charge Uttam Chandra Deb said Sourav went missing from Wednesday night. Locals informed the police about their dead body in the teak tree garden area later on Thursday morning. Following information gleaned from them, police recovered the body and sent to Khagrachhari District Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
