Under the auspices of Sachetan Nagarik Committee ( SANAC ) , Bagerhat and with the assistance of TIB formed a human chain in front of Bagerhat Press Club on Thursday morning demanding adequate and transparent financing to Bangladesh, the worst affected climate change country as per Paris Agreement.
 The human chain was chaired by Prof Chowdhury Abdur Rob, President of SANAC, Bagerhat while it was addressed among others by SANAC members Principal Saif Uddin Ahmed and Shaikh Mujibor Rahman, SAJAN members Dr. Gean Ranjaan Chakrabarty, Abu Hasib Saki and Sakir Hossain and YES members Rawshan Ara Tuli and Suman Shaikh. All the speakers told, USA is trying to foil the aims and objects of the Paris Agreement through withdrawing her contribution from the concerned Fund.
The speakers added, according to a TIB studies, Bangladesh has been financed with 85 million dollars so far over the last 3 years from the Green Climate Fund (CCF) although the country needs more than 2.5 billion dollars to tackle the climate risks.
