A teenage boy was crushed under the wheels of a speedy train at Bagha upazila in Rajshahi on Wednesday.
The identities of the deceased, aged around 10, could not be known immediately.
The accident took place at Arani Rail station around 8:00am, Hasanur Rahman, the station master confirmed the matter.
He said that the Dhaka-bound ‘Silk City Express’ train from Rajshahi hit the boy while crossing the rail tracks, leaving him injured on the spot.
He was died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).
