A four daylong Inter-faculty Handball Tournament has been started at gymnasium field of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) recently.
BAU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Ali Akbar inaugurated the tournament as chief guest with Student Affairs Adviser Prof Dr SD Chowdhury in the chair.
Boys-teams from all faculties and girls-teams from four faculties are participating in the tournament.
Agriculture faculty girls-team knocked down Agricultural Economics And Rural Sociology girls-team by 1-11 goals in the opening match.
The finals of the tournament will be held on 23 January.
