A youth was killed allegedly by his uncle following a sudden feud at Sahapur village under Keshabpur upazila in Jessore on Thursday evening.
The dead was identified as M Mukul, 17, son of Abul Kashem of Sahapur village.
Referring to locals, the police said the teen was killed on the spot as his uncle Abul Kalam hit him with a spear following a sudden feud as a goat ate some Iftar which was suppose to distribute to Muslim devotees at a mosque near their residence. Sub inspector Shymal Sarker of Keshabpur police station told that the police arrested the accused Abul Kalam in connection with the killing after a case was lodged with the police station by the victim’s father Abul Kashem on Friday.
