The teachers and students of Criminology Department of Dhaka University on Sunday organized a human chain at Aparajeo Bangla protesting the death of DU student in road accident. They demanded immediate arrest of the driver, and owner of the bus company.
Before the human chain they organized a mourning rally that circumambulated different streets of the campus. They urged a social movement to prevent road accident.
The late Shariful Islam was a 3rd year student of Criminology department and Bijoy Ekattor Hall residential student. He died in a road accident at Madaripur on 5 March.
