Southeast University (SEU) organized a meeting on militants free campus with SEU teachers and guardians at its Banani main campus on Saturday. Dean, School of Business Prof Dr AFM Mafizul Islam in his inaugural speech emphasized the need to keep the campus free from all sorts of terrorist activities. Then few guardians spoke and gave their valuable suggestions about how to refrain their children from terrorist activities and in this regards what role the University Authority and Teachers should perform.
Registrar of SEU Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed, SPP, psc (Retd) spoke on the occasion and highlighted the role that to be played by the teachers as well as Guardians to curb the present curse of terrorism. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury highlighted the importance of joint effort of Teachers and Guardians to tackle the present terrorism problem.
Deans, chairmen, faculties, staffs and students were present at the meeting along with the invited guardians.
