Pacer Taskin Ahmed is likely to miss the upcoming West Indies Series. Taskin has been suffering from shoulder injury for a long time. But he has maintained his running and gym-session. He has also taken part in the bowling and fielding practice. But He cannot recovery from injury. Thus, Taskin was dropped from the squad of three-match T20I Series against Afghanistan. So, there is a doubt that if he can take part in the West Indies Series.
Physiotherapist Dr Debashis Chowdhury said, ” The MRI of spinal cord of Takin was done. After inspecting his MRI report, I think there is no need any operation on his spinal cord. Taskin’s condition was not improving after physiotherapy. So, we decided to push injection. I hope after that his condition will be improved.”
Taskin had injury before his debut in international cricket. But fighter Ahmed fought against his injury. He bowled in international matches and got success.
His fans expect that he will return to international cricket soon and will show good performance.
