Taskin Ahmed starts training at SBNCS today

Pacer Taskin Ahmed will start his individual training at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur today. Taskin was out of cricket due to injury. The speedster was also out of full-fledged training due to coronavirus outbreak.
Mushfiqur Rahim, Mohammad Mithun, Shafiul Islam, Mehedi Hasan Rana, Imrul Kayes took part in their individual training maintaining social distance.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) gave permission to the national cricketers to participate part in the individual training after following the all health tips by the physician of BCB.
Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Mithun did running at the SBNCS and then practiced batting at the indoor.
Earlier, pacer Taskin Ahmed took part in the training at home and at the field which adjacent to his house. He did running, stretching, bowling and other physical exercise to earn cent percent fitness.
Taskin Ahmed is optimistic to take part in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) to return to the competitive cricket and take place in Bangladesh National Cricket team after showing consistent performance but DPL was postponed after one round due to coronavirus outbreak.
Taskin Ahmed said to the newsmen, “Fitness is key to do well in bowling and I felt I was completely fit. So I was eying to do something bigger in the DPL to make my way to the national team again. Unfortunately the coronavirus pandemic in the country ruined everything.”
He said, “But in a bid to keep myself fit, I did fitness training regularly. However there is gulf of difference between outdoor and indoor training. So it’s nice to be back to the SBNCS.”
Meanwhile, the consistent rain continued marring the running session of the batsmen and bowlers at SBNCS. Mushfiqur Rahim did not take part in the training on Wednesday but Mohammad Mithun, Imrul Kayes and Mehedi Hasan Rana came to the ground and participated in the training in indoor.
