As a pair, Tarin and Apurbo acted mentionable plays are: Ferdous Hasan Rana’s Laxmityara, Mejbaur Rahman Sumon’s Dhulo Megh-er Joshna Bhromon, Noresh Bhuiyan’s Tomar Opekkhai, Kawshik Shankar Das’ Kole and Shakhawat Manik’s Aporanno.After a break of seven years, this popular pair again performed together in a comedy-romantic story based play titled Bondhu Tumi Bondhu Aamar under the direction of SA Haque Alik.Recently Tarin was outside the country. After returning Bangladesh she has again become engaged with shooting for Eid plays. The play Bondhu Tumi Bondhu Aamar is Tarin’s acted first play for coming Eid-ul-Fitr, she said.While talking about her performance in this play Tarin told this correspondent, “Alik is one of those directors who are giving direction from small screen to big screen. He is not only a good person but also a talented director. After returning country he called me over phone to act in his play and I agreed to work from own confidence under his direction. Now viewers are showing less interest to watch good plays due to unexpected TV commercials and less budget. I think it is the right time to come into a decision by owners of different TV channels, play directors and advertisement-givers. Otherwise, it will be a difficult task to show the viewers good plays in channels.”Apurbo shared his feelings by this way, “As my co-actress, Tarin has a lot of contribution in media for me to come into present position. She is not only a good actress but also very much cooperative co-actress. I always learn something new from her and it is a liking matter for me that as a pair we have presented many popular plays.”The play Bondhu Tumi Bondhu Aamar will be aired on ATN Bangla in Eid-ul-Fitr, said its director Alik.Under the direction of SA Haque Alik Tarin and Apurbo performed together in a play titled Sonar Kathi Rupar Kathi. Arman Parvez Murad and Bidya Sinha Saha Mim also performed in that play.After returning Bangladesh Tarin has also worked in Dipankar Dipon’s directed a serial titled Grandmaster. She will also work in several other plays within this month on the occasion of Eid, Tarin said.
