The mother has committed suicide due to her son’s misdeeds at Tarash in Sirajganj. The incident took place at Binnabari village in Saguna union of the upazila. It is learned that Firoza Khatun, wife of Mominur Rahman of Binnabari village in Saguna union of the upazila, married her son Firoz Ahmed to her brother’s daughter. Leaving his wife, Feroz Ahmed fled with Anisur Rahman wife a week ago. On the one hand, the life of the brother’s daughter was ruined, on the other hand, the boy disappeared with another housewife. So in this humiliation and frustration, he drank the pesticide of the boy’s mother Firoza Khatun (42) on Thursday afternoon, September 30. He was later rescued and died on the way to Natore Hospital. Police recovered his body on Friday morning and sent it to Sirajganj Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Former UP member Abdul Karim confirmed the death and said police had taken the body away.
Tarash Police Station Officer-in-Charge Fazle Ashiq said the body of the housewife was recovered and sent to the morgue of Sirajganj Hospital. An unnatural death case has been filed at the police station in this incident.
