Sheikh Arif Bulbon :The first runner-up of Lux-Anandadhara Beauty Pageant 2004 Tanzika Amin was totally absent from acting for last few years. Champion and second runner-up of that contest have already left media. But Tanzika still remain in the showbiz.In 2004, Tanzika first worked in Delwar Jahan Jhontu’s movie Bokul Phuler Mala against popular actor Riaz. In the small screen, she first worked under Shahiduzzaman Selim’s a serial titled Sporsher Bairey. This time Tanzika is working in three serials. These are: Badrul Anam Soud’s Antorjatra, Sumon Anwar’s Glamour World and Mostafa Kamal Raj’s Noy Chhoy. She has been acting in different roles in these serials. In Glamour World, she is playing in role of a journalist. While sharing her feelings about working in these serials Tanzika told this correspondent, “Stories of these three serials are really outstanding in a word. I believe viewers will enjoy these. In Sumon Anwar’s serial, I am acting in role of a journalist which I am really enjoying a lot. Besides it, other serials are also running well. Though last couple of years I was fully detached with acting but right now I have become regular in acting. With everybody’s cooperation I want to continue acting in media.”Meanwhile, Tanzika acted and Tania Ahmed directed movie Good Morning London is waiting to release. Therefore, Tanzika’s other serials – Abul Hayat’s Akasher Oparey Akash, Salauddin Lavlu’s The Village Engineer, Hridy Haque’s Shesh Bikeler Gaan, Aronno Anwar’s Dohon and Imraul Rafat’s daily soap Calling Bell – are being aired on NTV, RTV, NTV, ATN Bangla and Desh TV respectively now, Tanzika added.
