Tangail District team and Bangladesh Ansar & VDP won their respective matches of the final round of the KFC National Women’s Football Championship at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium on Saturday.
In the day’s first match, Tangail District team thrashed Khulna District team by 5-1 goals.
Krishna Rani and Bipasha Mali of Tangail scored two goals each and their teammate Ila netted one goal.
On the other hand, Runa of Khulna District team scored one goal.
In the day’s second match, Bangladesh Ansar & VDP blanked Satkhira District team by 5-0 goals.
Munmun of Ansar hit a hat-trick and her teammate Ungmra Ching Marma scored two goals.
