Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal will be uncertain for the upcoming 1st Test against hosts South Africa (SA) for injury problem. The Test match is scheduled to be held from September 28 to October 2.
Tamim Iqbal was injured on the first day of the three-day warm-up match against Cricket South Africa Invitation XI on Thursday last. Tamim’s left foot was scanned on Friday. After examining his foot, it was found that Tamim got ‘Grade One Tear’ in his muscle of left foot. It will take seven to ten days to recovery from the injury. So, Tamim may be uncertain in the first Test.
Tamim said to a daily newspaper of Bangladesh, ” The chance to take part in the 1st Test is fifty-fifty. Everything depends on how early I can recovery from injury. After that, I shall tell my decision.”
