Tamim shines for Bhairahawa Gladiators

Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal shone with the willow for Bhairahawa Gladiators against Chitwan Tigers in their Twenty20 match of the Everest Premier League in Nepal on Monday. Bhairahawa won the match by six wickets.
Sent into bat first, Chitwan Tigers scored 164 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Bhairahawa Gladiators reached the winning target in 17.4 overs making 165 for the loss of four wickets when they had 13 balls to spare.
Tamim Iqbal paved their path smooth hitting a marvelous 40 from 30 balls.
Tamim and Pradeep Airee put on together 106 runs in the opening stand.
Pradeep Airee made 72 from 42 deliveries.
Later, Upul Tharanga hit a windy 39 from 19 balls to help Bhairahawa Gladiators to overhaul the winning target.
Earlier, Karim Janat of Chitwan Tigers made 35 and his teammate Mohammad Shahzad scored 32, which powered Chitwan Tigers to make a fighting total.
