Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal shone with the willow again for Peshawar Zalmi against Lahore Qalanders in their match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Sharjah in United Arab Emirates on Saturday night.
Tamim Iqbal remained unbeaten with 37. His 35-ball innings was decorated with four fours.
Peshawar Zalmi recorded an easy 10-wicket victory over Lahore Qalanders.
Chasing Lahore Qalanders paltry total of 100 off 17.2 overs, Peshawar Zalmi sailed home making 104 for the loss of none when they had 38 balls to spare.
Tamim Iqbal and Kamran Akmal put on together 104 runs for the unbroken opening stand to bring victory. Kamran remained unbeaten with 57. He hit seven fours and two sixers in his 47-ball knock.
It may be mentioned that left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman of Lahore Qalanders failed to bag any wicket. He bowled two overs conceding 10 runs.
