Tamim, Mustafiz join individual training programme

Captain of Bangladesh Cricket (ODI) team Tamim Iqbal and ‘Cutter Master’ Mustafizur Rahman joined the individual training programme at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur on Sunday. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has arranged the individual training practice for the national cricketers. The players took part in their practice sessions maintaining social distance.
Tamim Iqbal did running for 45 minutes. After taking rest for some time, Tamim did batting in the indoor.
Earlier, Tamim Iqbal went to London for taking medication there. After that he returned to the city on August 1. Then he took a 14-day quarantine. After ending his quarantine Tamim took part in the practice sessions.
Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman did bowling for half-an-hour. Then he did running at the BCB-NCA ground, which is adjacent to the SBNCS.
A good number of cricketers took part in their individual training programme at the SBNCS on Sunday.
Bangladesh will leave the city for Sri Lanka on September 23. The Tigers will play a three-match Test series against Lanka in Sri Lanka from October 24.
