Left-handed dashing opening batsman of Bangladesh national cricket team Tamim Iqbal will play for the World Stars against Pakistan Stars in ‘Play for Peace’ Twenty20 Cricket in Norway on August 19.
Tamim will reach the Norway capital Oslo on August 17 and will play the friendly match against Pakistan Stars on August 19 at Bislett Stadium.
He already got permission from Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to participate in the match as lone participant from Bangladeshi
Christiania Cricket Club is the organizer of this event, being held from last few years as a part of the culture and sports festival in Oslo.
Apart from Tamim Iqbal, some other star cricketers-Shahid Afridi of Pakistan, Pathan brothers (Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan) of India, Sri Lankan legendary opening batsman Sanath Jayasuriya-are expected to participate in the friendly Twenty20 match.
