Tamalika’s silver jubilee in her acting career

Only to love acting National Film Award winner actress Tamalika Karmakar has already passed 26 years of her acting career. She started her acting career with the hands of her mentor Mamunur Rashid to work in theatre group Aronnyok. From that time to till now she has been engaged not only with Aronnyok but also with acting in both small and big screens.
Under the banner of Aronnyok, Tamalika first acted in theatre play titled Pathor directed by Azizul Hakim. Later on stage she acted in many plays. Shew last acted in 180th show of Rarang on June 28. She played in role of Shyamoli. It was directed and scripted by Mamunur Rashid. In last Eid, she acted in several numbers of plays which were appreciated by the viewers.
Today is Tamalika’s birthday. While talking about the day she told this correspondent, “Basically I do not myself celebrate my birthday. I do not keep any shooting schedule on this day. I pass the day by own way. I am grateful to the viewers who eagerly enjoy watching my works on the screen. I am really grateful to my mentor Mamunur Rashid Sir because I learned many things from him.”
Tamalika acted first movie was Sheikh Niamat Ali’s Annyo Jibon. But she got the National Film Award to act in Abu Sayeed’s movie Kittonkhola. Tamalika acted viewers’ choice most mentionable movie is Malek Afsari’s Ei Ghor Ei Sangsar.
