The day-long talent hunt chess competition was held on Saturday at Motijheel Govt. Boys’ High School in the city, said a Walton Group press release.
A total of 200 students of Motijheel Govt. Boys’ High School took part in the competition, organised by Bangladesh Chess Player Association in cooperation with Bangladesh Chess Federation.
After the talent-hunt competition, ten chess players have been finally selected.
This competition will be conducted in seven more schools in the capital later stage to bring out 70 more budding chess players.
