A tailor was stabbed to death by some unidentified miscreants in city’s New Market area in the early hours of Friday.
The victim was identified as Raju. He is from Natore. He used to live at 338 Ismail Mansion Market of city’s New Market area, ASI Akhteruzzaman of New Market thana told the media.
The body of Raju was found near wash room on fifth floor of Ismail Mansion market on Friday morning. The body bore marks of injuries, the police said.
The body was first seen by a cleaner of the market, the police said. The matter was informed to the police by the market authority. The body was later sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy.
No clue of the murder could be found till the time of filing the report on Friday evening.
