Sylhet reign rode on Alok’s double ton on day 2 in NCL

Alok Kapali scored a magnificent unbeaten double century
saw Sylhet Division reigned the day as they declared their first innings at 555 for 7 against Chittagong Division on the second day of the four-day National Cricket League NCL held Wednesday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Cricket Stadium in Chittagong.
The overnight batsman Alok played an impressive 200 runs off 266 balls laced with 12 boundaries and 10 over boundaries while Jaker Ali supported him with 78 runs off 107 balls that studded seven boundaries and two over boundaries, after Sylhet Division resumed their first innings on the second day (Wednesday) at overnight scores of 309 for 4.
Iftekhar Sajjad was the pick of Chittagong bowler as he grabbed three wickets giving away 105 runs he was well supported by Nayeem Hasan who took two wickets conceding 189 runs.
In reply, Chittagong Division started their first innings on the second day afternoon and scored 115 for 3 at stumps. Yasir Ali with 53 and Nafees Iqbal with 51 at the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Abu Jayed was the most successful bowler for Sylhet as he claimed two wickets giving away 16 runs.
