Police in a drive arrested a local leader of Jubo Dal from Kalbakhani area in the city on Friday.
The arrestee was identified as Kamrul Hasan Shahin. Tipped off, a team of police conducted a raid on Shahin’s house at about 7:00 pm and arrested him, said Gousul Hossain, officer-in-charge of Airport Police Station.
Police arrested Shahin in connection with three cases filed over subversive activities during hartal and blockade programme of the BNP-led 20-party alliance, the OC added.
