Sylhet district emerged as champions in the Meizan Fourtyfide Pum Oline Inter-District and National Kabaddi competition beating Dhaka district by a narrow margin of 36-35 points with two creditable ‘lona’ on Thursday at the Kabaddi Stadium.
National Sports Council director (sports) Narayan Chandra Devnath was present as the chief guest in the final and distributed prizes among the winners.
Kabaddi Federation vice president and tournament committee’s co-chairman Nizam Uddin Chowdhury Parez was present as the special guest.
