Sylhet AL leader’s body exhumed

The body of Mokhlesur Rahman Doula, 60, General Secretary of Jaintapur upazila unit of Awami League was exhumed from the grave on Saturday.
Police sent the body to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and Hospital morgue. The body was buried the same day after forensic test, said OC of Jaintapur Police Station Harun-or-Rashid.
The OC told The New Nation that the body of Doula was exhumed from the graveyard situated in

his village in the morning with UNO of Jaintapur Md Khaledur Rahman overseeing the exhumation work.
He said that it had been done to find out the clue of the AL leader’s death about a month ago, as a murder case had been filed with the Jaintapur Police Station. His son Manzur-e-Elahi Samrat filed the case on September 25.
Mokhlesur Rahman Doula, also former chairman of Nijpat U/P of the upazila, was killed on the night of September 11 when a truck hit his motorcycle at Nijpat Bandarhati village under the upazila.
