A 4-day long Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2017 conference has began at Boao City in Hainan on Thursday.
B F A Permanent representative to Bangladesh and former communication minister Syed Abul Hossain attended the conference representing Bangladesh with other world leaders, said a press release.
The theme of the conference of the year is Globalisation and Free-trade : The Asian Perspective .
He attended business sessions and seminars of the conference . He will meet with Vice Premier of State Council of China Mr Zhang Gaoli on Saturday and later with the Foreign Minister of China . He will hold sideline meetings with the head of states of different countries.
Over 2000 delegates from Asian countries attended the conference . Besides, representatives from Europe, USA, Africa and Australia also took part in the conference .
The participants in different sessions stressed the need for building B F A as a strong global economic forum and identified the strategies for future plan of action.
