The authorities of Islamic University in Kusthia launched a database based website (www.iu.ac.bd) portal on Sunday.
University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the website portal at his office.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor Dr M Selim Toha, acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif, student adviser Professor Dr Anwarul Haque, Proctor Professor Dr M Mahbubar Rahman, Director of IU computer center Professor Dr Paresh Chandara Barmon, its Assistant Director M Jasim Uddin, among others, were present.
The teachers and the students of the university could open their own profile at the portal through registration, director of the university computer center Professor Dr Paresh Chandara Barmon said.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari said the university would be enriched by using such kind of website.
