Election of the seventeenth executive committee of Shahjalal University Press Club, an organization of journalists engaging at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, has been held.
Jubayer Mahmud as president (Bangladesh Pratidin) and Masud Al Razi (Daily Observer) as general Sectretary have been elected for the year 2020-21.
Chief Election Commissioner Lutful Elahi Kawsar declared the results on Wednesday noon.
As the Vice-President of the committee, Rajib Hossain, (Daily Samakal), Joint-Secretary, GM Imran Hossain, (Daily Ittefaq), Finance-Secretary, Nazmul Huda (Bangla Tribune) and Abdullah Al Masud as office Secretary (Desh Rupantar) are elected in the new committee.
Besides, Nurul Islam Rudra (Daily Kaler Kantha), Hasan Naeem (banglanews24.com) and Rashedul Hasan (Daily Campus) are elected as executive members.
