The election of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) Press Club was held recently.
Ziaul Islam (Amader Shomoy) and Juned Ahmed (Bhorer Kagoj) were elected President and General Secretary of the 15-member committee of the club respectively.
Chief Election Commissioner Dr Mohsin Aziz Khan declared the result in Press Club premises. Other office bearers are : Vice President Rifat Al Mamun (Inkilab), Joint Secretary Shafkat Manzoor (Sabuj Sylhet) Treasurer Enamul Hasan (Naya Diganto), Office Secretary Mehdi Kabir (Jugantor). Three Executive Members elected are Imran Hussain (Janokantha), Araf Ahmed (Manob Jomin) and Moazzum Afran (Sangbad).
The election was held in SUST Press Club on Thursday. VC Prof. Farid Uddin Ahmed welcomed the new committee.
