The Super League of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League starts today at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club will take on Bangladesh Sporting Club at 2.00 pm while Usha Krira Chakra will face Dhaka Wanderers Club at 4.00 pm.
A total of six teams moved into the Super League. They are: Usha Krira Chakra, Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Dhaka Abahani Limited, Bangladesh Sporting Club and Dhaka Wanderers Club.
League leaders Usha Krira Chakra led the points table gaining 31 points from 11 matches while Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club took the second spot bagging 28 points from as many matches.
Mohammedan Sporting Club and Abahani Limited collected 26 points each from the same number of outings.
Bangladesh Sporting Club and Dhaka Wanderers Club earned 15 points each from as many matches.
