Slow left-arm orthodox Arafat Sunny made the national selectors proud as he showed early promise on his debut as 109th Bangladeshi Cricketer in ODI format
in first ODI of the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Arafat Sunny first took his maiden ODI wicket of Sri Lankan ace batsman Kumar Sangakkara and then completed his tally taking the second wicket of pacer Nuwan Kulasekara to finish his spell with two wickets for 31 runs from six overs including two maidens.
The 27-year old Sunny represented major teams Bangladesh Under-19s, Barisal Division, Central Zone (Bangladesh), Chittagong Kings, Dhaka Division, Dhaka Metropolis, UCB-BCB Eleven.
Earlier, he was debuted in just concluded two-match T20 series in Chittagong.
