Former College Inspector of Chattogram Education Board (ex-officio Dy Secretary) Mr Sumon Barua has been appointed as Chief Education Officer of Chatt
ogram City Corporation recently.
This appointed was given in a circular issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on August 28 last. Mentionable that Sumon Barua was promoted to the post of DeputySecretary on February 21 last under BCS cadre service and posted as Officer on special duty in the said ministry till new posting in CCC.
Mr Barua was the College Inspector under Ctg Education Board as well as Convenor of CCC Education Policy Formulation committee.
The existing as Chief Education Officer of CCC Nazia Shirin has been promoted as Deputy Secretary and posted as Deputy commissioner of Nilphamari District, CCC sources said.
