Summit Open Squash Tournament begins tomorrow

The Summit Open Squash Tournament, organized by Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation (BSRF), begins tomorrow (Friday) at the Gulshan Club Squash court in the capital.
Minister for Housing and Public Works Engineer Mosharraf Hossain will inaugurate the 12-team eight-day meet.
Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Syed Shaheed Reza and President of Gulshan Club (Dhaka), Shahabuddin Khan will also be present as special guests at the function to be chaired by BSRF presided Faruk Khan MP.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony on December 4 and later he will distribute the prizes.
BSRF General Secretary Jahangir Hamid (Sohel Hamid) disclosed these at a press conference at the NSC conference room on Wednesday.
Of the total budget of Tk five lakh, Tk one lakh will be distributed among the winners as prize money.
The participating teams are:Bangladesh Air Force, Anonta Group, American Club, Chittagong Club, Dhaka Club, Army Red, Army Green, Army Club, Bangladesh Navy, Ossin Group, Dhaka University Club and Gulshan Club.
