National Film Award winning music composer and director Sujeyo Shyam has given direction of two movies, which stories are based on the liberation war. Titles of the both movies are 71. One is 71’ Er Maa Jononi, while another is 71’ Er Kshudiram.
Munshi Wadud has written lyrics of movie 71 Er Maa Jononi, while Mannan Hira has composed lyrics of 71 Er Kshudiram.
In first movie, there are two playback songs, which were rendered by Andrew Kishore and Afsana Runa. On the other hand, in second movie, there are three playback songs. These were rendered by Shimul Khan, Close Up 1 singer Apu Sarkar and Afsana Runa.
While talking about the songs of the two movies Sujeyo Shyam told this correspondent, “I have tried my level best to compose five playback songs for two movies. In fact, I was very emotional while composing music of these playback songs. I was recalling the days of the liberation war while composing these songs. I believe that the viewers will enjoy the songs while watching the movies.”
Director of 71 Er Maa Jononi Shah Alam Kiron informed that the movie is scheduled to be released on December 19.
Meanwhile director of 71 Er Kshudiram Mannan Hira informed that premier show of the movie will be taken place on December 30. n
