Non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Bangladesh Sirajuddin Hamid Yousif paid a farewell call on President M Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban here on Sunday.
During the meeting, the President thanked the people and government of Sudan for providing support and assistance on the Rohingya issue, President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
Referring to the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, he said Bangladesh and Sudan always express common views on different important issues in the United Nations and other international forums.
The head of state said the commerce and investment relations between Bangladesh and Sudan are increasing gradually.
