The first death anniversary of legendry film actress Suchitra Sen was observed in Pabna.
On this occasion, Pabna Drama Circle, a platform of theatre, organized different programmes including placing of wreaths at Sen’s portrait, lighting of candles, observance of one-minute silence and memorial meeting.
A memorial meeting was held at the office of Pabna Drama Circle on Aurangzeb Road here.
President of Suchitra Sen Smriti Sangrakkhan Parishad M Saidul Haque Chunnu addressed the meeting as the chief guest while the parishad’s general secretary Ram Dulal Bhowmik, Pabna Press Club Vice-President Murshad Subhani, physician Sarwar Jahan Fayez and Pabna City College lecturer Shamsunnahar Barna spoke, among others.
