A Dhaka court on Sunday has again deferred the investigation report submission date in the case filed over the sensational murders of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi.
With this, the submission deadline has been rescheduled 53 times.
As the probe report was not submitted to the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court this time again, Magistrate Mahmuda Akhter fixed June 3 as the next deadline. Earlier, the report’s submission was delayed 52 times in the past six years since the sensational murders. But Bangladesh’s elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) failed every time to submit the report.
