A Dhaka court on Wednesday deferred the submission of the probe report of a case filed against BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia for hurting the religious sentiments of the people. The new date is November 25.
Magistrate Shamsul Arefin of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka passed the order, as the Investigation Officer of the
case could not submit any report on Wednesday.
Jananetri Parishad President AB Siddique filed the case on October 21, last year, accusing Khaleda Zia of using defamatory words intended to create conflict among the people of different social strata and beliefs.
