The 21st Syndicate meeting of Southern University Bangladesh (SUB) was held at the University Conference Room recently. SUB Vice Chancellor Prof Mohammad Ali, Chairman of Syndicate committee, presided over the meeting.
Southern University Trust Chairman Khalilur Rahman, Treasurer Sarwar Jahan, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Sharifuzzman, Prof Dr Abdul Muqtader, Vice Chairman of Southern University Trust Shafique Uddin and Liakat Ali, nominee of the ministry of Education Prof Dr Jahangir Alam, Registrar Dr Ishrat Jahan, Prof Md. Mohiuddin Chowdhury were also present in the meeting as the member of SUB Syndicate Committee.
In the Syndicate meeting the committee has approved different important agenda like permanent campus, resolution of the 20th Syndicate meeting, proceedings of 18th and 19th Academic Council, appointments, promotion, resignations, study leave, maternity leave, HEQEP project, linkages with Overseas Universities, Budget of 2015-16 fiscal year, income and expenditure statement and miscellanies.
