In observance of the International Mother Language Day and Great Amar Ekushey, Parents Care School and College of Chowkbazar in city , a discussion meeting was arranged at school premises recently . Principal of the college Prof. Jaharlal Bhattachariya, BCS(Edn) presided over it.
President of central committee of BAHOP and Chairman of Parents Care school & College , noted homoeo physician , reputed social personality Principal Dr. Abdul Karim graced the occasion as chief guest. Admin officer of the school & college MA Fazal, social personality Md Jashimuddin attended it as special guests moderated by senior teacher of the school Jalaluddin Kawser.
Senior teacher of the school Johra Sheuli delivered address of welcome in it. Among others senior teacher Reva Rani Das, Mrs Uma Paul, NM Sohel, Md.Javed also addressed the it as discussants.
In memory of the language martyred , the participants including 250 students observed silence for one minute . Pravat Ferry (morning procession) was brought out from school premises at 6.30 am led by Principal Dr. Abdul Karim. The participants paid homage to the martyred language heroes through placing wreaths at the Shaheed Minar of Chattogram Govt College .
The chief guest in his brief deliverations urged the students to become imbued with the spirit of liberation war and independence Bangladesh under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He also emphasis the importance of good education aimed at building a prosperous Bangladesh .
