Students can glorify nation through success in sports

Speakers at a prize giving ceremony of the annual sports competitions of RCCI School and College here today said students could glorify the nation with pride and dignity through achieving success in sports.
They asked the students for regular practice of sports and exercise also to become physically stronger and mentally sound side by side conducting studies and other extracurricular activities to flourish their talents, potentials and abilities.
Authority of the reputed RCCI School and College, being run by Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), organised the annual sports competitions- 2015 for the students flowed by prize giving ceremony at the institution’s ground in the city.
Divisional Commissioner (Additional Secretary) Muhammad Dilwar Bakht attended the colourful launching ceremony as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the sports competitions by cutting ribbon as the chief guest.
President of RCCI and Governing Committee of RCCI School and College Mostafa Sohrab Chowdhury Titu presided over the inaugural and prize distribution ceremonies.
Former President of RCCI and Governing Committee of the institution Mosaddek Hossain Bablu, RCC Director and Convener of the Cultural Sub-committee of the institution Monjur Ahmed Azad attended as the special guests.
RCCI Directors Shah Md Selim, Mostafa Ahmed, Fazlul Haque, Mozammel Haque Dambel, Mamunur Rashid Mamun, Mograb Ali and Rabi Somani, its former Vice-President Habibur Rahman raja, Vice-president Ramakrishna Somani, attended.
The teachers and students of the institution, guardians, public representatives, civil society members, youngsters, socio-cultural and sports personalities, professionals and local elite enjoyed the sports competitions.
Later, the chief guest, along with other invited guests, distributed prizes among winners of different sports events after the discussion meeting in the concluding prize giving ceremony.
