Speakers at a function have asked the students for practicing sports to become physically stronger and flourish talents, potentials and abilities along with studies and other extra
curriculum activities.
They were addressing the ceremony arranged for distribution of prizes among winners of the annual sports competitions-2015 and cultural functions of Janpur Munshirhat High School under Sadar upazila in the district last afternoon.
Acting President of district Awami League (AL) and Zila Parishad Administrator Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed attended the ceremony and distributed prizes among winners of different sports events as the chief guest.
Office Secretary of district AL Tauhidur Rahman Tutul, District Primary Education Officer of Nilphamari Shafikul Islam and Organising Secretary of district unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) SM Sabbir Ahmed addressed as special guests.
Headmaster of Janpur Munshirhat High School Shamsul Huda Pramanik delivered welcome speech in the ceremony presided over by Chairman of the School Governing Committee Abdul Aziz Chowdhury Manu.
Assistant Teachers Abdul Momin Chowdhury and Mostafizur Rahman moderated the ceremony participated by teachers, students, guardians, civil society members, socio-cultural and sports personalities, professionals and local elite.
Later, the chief guest distributed prizes among winners of different sports events after the discussion meeting in the ceremony followed by a cultural function.
