A student named Tauhidul Islam (3) has gone missing while taking a bath in the Matamuhuri River at Chakriya of Cox’s Bazar. Local people and fire service personnel are trying to rescue him.He went missing from the Chairman Ghat area of Chakriya upazila on Thursday afternoon.
Missing Touhidul Islam is the son of Abdul Rahman and is a student of Chakria Government College. Local UP member Mohammad Rubel said Tauhidul went for bathing on the Chairman Ghat side of the Matamuhuri River. The locals saw him getting plunged into the water and tried to rescue him. However, he has not yet been found.
Chakria Fire Service Station Officer Md Saiful Hassan, said that a college student was reported missing in the Matamuhuri river. Fire service personnel are working to rescue him.
