A college student was killed and another injured in a road accident in the city’s Demra area on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Fazle Rabbi, 16, a student of Rokeya Ahsan College. He was son of Md Mujibur Rahman, an inhabitant of Konapara under Demra Thana.. Quoting the witnesses, Demra Police Station’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Mohammad Nasir said that Rabbi lost control on the motorcycle and it hit a truck near Al Amin road around 10:30am. Rabbi died on the spot and injured Tanjin was admitted to a local clinic.
The body had been sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for an autopsy, the police official said.
