A college student died after falling off the rooftop of a building in the city’s Ambarkhana area on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Russel, a student of Madan Mohan College and hailed from Moulvibazar district.
Quoting witnesses, police said Russel used to live in a mess in ‘Barkat Bhaban’, said Mosharraf Hossain, officer-in-charge of Airport Police Station.
Russel slipped from the rooftop of the building and fell on a live electric wire of the adjacent building around 11 pm that left him dead on the spot.
