CJ asks officials: Strictly follow rules in women repression cases

Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha has asked officials concerned to strictly follow section 31 (a) of Women and Children Repression Prevention Act-2000 while dealing with cases under the law.
In a notice signed by High Court Division Registrar Abu Syed Diljar Hussain, the Chief Justice said, according to sub-section 3 of the section 20 of the act, a tribunal shall complete the adjudication within the period of one hundred and eighty days from the date the case was filed.
