About 60 students have achieved GPA-5 in this year’s Secondary School Certificate and its equivalent examinations from Borhanuddin Upazila of Bhola district. Of them, four students (one male and three female) hail from very poor families.
Still now, they are living under hardship. But they had determined to attain GPA-5 from science discipline. They want to be doctor, engineer and BCS cadre, but need help to reach their goals.
Khuku Moni has attained the GPA-5 from Manika High School under Barishal Education Board this year. She lost her father last year. Her father was a private service holder.
After the death of her father, they have to pass their daily life struggling with the poverty. Her mother Selina Begum borrowed money for her daughter’s educational expenses. Now, she has no money to continue her daughter’s study.
Khuku Moni wants to be engineer. But her dream will go to vain if she does not get help from the affluent people of the society.
Nazma Begum is living with her family at Boro Manika Union. They faced river erosion several times. Her father Yousuf is a meson. They are living under poverty. It was very difficult for her father to maintain family as well as his daughter’s educational expenses. But Nazma wants to continue her study at any cost. She wants to be doctor.
Farzana Akhter is a daughter of Abdul Majid. He is a landless farmer. He has three daughters and a son. He had to face very difficult moment to give extra money to her daughter after maintaining family expenditure. Now he is very happy and feels proud of her daughter. But it is impossible for him to continue his daughter’s study. Farzana is determined to get higher education and to be BCS cadre.
 Md Zihad is also son of a poor farmer. It was very difficult task for his father to bear his educational expenses. But he was committed to attain good result in SSC examination. Ultimately he did it. He wants to be doctor in future
