Last year Ziaul Faruk Apurba and Mehazabien Chowdhury-starred several plays and telefilms got popularity among the viewers. This made them a popular pair of present time in the small screen. This pair means something new attraction for the viewers because their works portray exceptional stories, quality making and outstanding performances. They always seen to work in the romantic story based plays and telefilms.
This time promising director Mabrur Rashid Bannah has made a special play titled Chhotto Pakhir Basha on the occasion of upcoming Valentine’s Day casting Apurba and Mehazabien. Story of the play was written by Dihan while Bannah wrote its script and also gave direction.
Shooting of the play was done in the capital’s Uttara area on January 19 and 20.
While talking about acting in the play Apurba told this correspondent, “Earlier I worked under Bannah’s direction. Story of this play is absolutely different. Viewers can easily relate after watching my get-up in the play. The viewers who know play well; Chhotto Pakhir Basha is for them. While acting in this play I was serious for the viewers. I am very much optimistic about the play. Mehazabien acted well. I am really impressed about her acting.”
Mehazabien shared her feelings by this way, “There is tragedy in the beginning of the story of the play. The viewers who are watching Apurba Bhaiya and me in romantic story based plays they will surely get something new in this play. There is specialty in my character in the play though I have been acting in such type of roles. But there was obviously challenging in my role.”
Director Bannah also informed that after one year Mehazabien worked under his direction. She last acted under his direction in play Kotodin Por Holo Dekha.
Under Bannah’s direction Apurba has also acted in play Emotional Fool which will be telecast on Valentine’s Day.
