Baizid thana police in association of Karnapuli thana police under Chittagong Metropolitan police recovered 39 LPG cylinder gas bottle from Karnaphuli thana area yesterday afternoon.
One Nasha miah(49) was arrested allegedly involved with the stealing of 79 gas cylinder.
Police sources said 79 cylinder gas bottles were stolen from a dealer of Baizid area named Padma Trading by breaking the lock of the godown of the gas cylinder on August 2 last.
Following the case filed by the owner of the dealer, Baizid thana police recovered 39 cylinder yesterday from Yasanagar and bridge ghat area under Karnapuli thana and arrested Nasha miah. Asper confession of the detained, these cylinder gas bottles were recovered by police, sources said.
Police also rounded up owner of Mamtaz Engerpsrise Md.Hossain (35) allegedly involved with the stealing and selling of these gas cylinders as per confession of Nasha Miah, sources said.
