Investors witnessed mixed trend in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Monday, the second trading day of the week.
DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 6.28 points to stand at 4617.73 at the close of day’s trading. Trade deals stood at 115082 with transaction at Tk 4398.98 million. Of the issues traded, 127 advanced, 151 declined and 40 remained unchanged.
BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 213.91 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were SAPORTL, UPGDCL, BXPHARMA, SUMITPOWER, EMERALDOIL, KPCL, IFADAUTOS, KDSALTD and BBS.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8586.99 by gaining over 2.84 points.
